For someone who actually is curious, here's the info for you to put together.

http://www.legistorm.com/member/69/Sen_John_McCain.html

http://www.legistorm.com/member/76/S...ack_Obama.html

I'm curious myself, but I don't have time now.

Obama is just so full of BS and a hypocrite on every single subject.

I guess in the Muslim world, this practice is tradition.

Good find!

Obama is not about change, but he pays his females with change.

Starting to dig through it, but the most obviously relevant bit is this:

Quote:
Congressional staff salaries shown are the amount paid in the period shown. They are not annual salaries. Because bonuses may be included here and other payments may not be (most notably with aides working for multiple offices or for a political campaign committee), please use caution in extrapolating annual salaries from the figures shown here.
And, of course, there's no indication whether the person was employed full-time, etc.

Odd that the same rules would apply for McCain, yet his females are paid higher, eh?

You can click on the time period to narrow it down. It's not hard to figure out. Just looking at the job titles and salaries from 04/01/07 - 09/30/07 for Barack looks bad though. Really bad. The weird thing is that the feminazis won't care. They're lefties based on feeling, not reason.

With libs it's not what they do, it's what they say that matters.

But they're not.

I took McCain's numbers for 10/1/06-3/31/07, and dropped them into an excel spreadsheet. Following the rules cited by CNS, I eliminated interns and anyone paid an annual salary of less than $23,000 (meaning a six-month salary of less than $12,500).

McCain also had an office manager quit halfway through, and replaced her with another woman. That would have the effect of exaggerating the female headcount while reducing the average female salary. So I combined them into one entry, which reflects the gender and full pay of the slot.

Further, two of the men -- Mark Salter and Christopher Paul -- didn't work the full term, which has the effect of reducing the average men's salary. Rather than do math that could be disputed, I ignored that.

The results:

24 women, paid an average of $26,634.82.
15 men, paid an average of $31,240.35.

Now I'll look at Obama.

Obama's numbers:

He had more people. He also had eight people (two women, six men) who didn't work the full six months. Again, I ignored this. I can do the math if someone wants to make a point of it.

The results:

20 women, paid an average of $25,173.97.

30 men, paid an average of $32,091.98.

I don't see a significant difference between the two offices. And even if there were, you'd have to drill down further and look at schedules, job duties, bonuses, etc. to determine how pay really shook out.

Wow, you should call the Secretary of the Senate, and tell them you are smarter than they are!

Quote:
On average, women working in Obama's Senate office were paid at least $6,000 below the average man working for the Illinois senator. That's according to data calculated from the Report of the Secretary of the Senate, which covered the six-month period ending Sept. 30, 2007. Of the five people in Obama's Senate office who were paid $100,000 or more on an annual basis, only one -- Obama's administrative manager -- was a woman.

You're just upset that he proved your smear tactic wrong.
