Why on earth should we vote for someone who has to move somewhere to be where we want them to be? Inevitably, they will move back immediately after they sucker you out of your vote.

I really have to wonder about the intelligence of a person who votes for a candidate because he moved closer to where the voter wanted him to be after the campaign got under way!

For sure you should beware of job applicants that misrepresent themselves.

Gov Bush's campaign promises for instance.. Once dubya got the job he did the total opposite what he said he will do. and now he is a joke of lame duck with 27% job approval rating.

Every president in my lifetime has broken most of their campaign promises or outright lied in their campaign. It's no wonder many people in my generation and younger don't much trust politicians.

I imagine his speech after a good dose of thruth serum to sound something like this:

(pause) yes we can! (pause) Yes we can march all the way to the White House steps with nothing more than a few silly catchphrases the notion that I will be the first black president to guide me. Yes we can say one thing this week, and a completely contradictory thing the next because in the end its all about change and hope! My change into the President of the United States and my hope that you will buy my inane ramblings about subjects I have no knowledge of or experience in!
