So one good turn deserves another, when are we going to drop the partisan bull (*)(*)(*)(*) and start holding ALL of our representatives responsible for their wasteful spending?

Hell, just the interest we pay on Bush's national debt is $250 billion a year.
Don't be blind my friend, there was debt there before he got in office, and their will be debt when the next POTUS leaves office and that will continue to be the case until spending is curtailed. Both parties are guilty of this so partisan politics and blaming one side or the other makes you look like a blind pundit too ignorant to soak up all the facts.

Bush has increased the debt more than every other President combined.
Sorry, but right now I can't afford to be "nonpartisan".
Help us clean out these neocon fascists, and then we'll talk.

Presidents don't create spending bills and the ear marks to which this thread are directed can only be added by the House.

How much was the interest on Clinton's National Debt?

Since Obama wants to spend far more, how much will his interest payments be?

$500 billion?

Our Debt/GDP ratio is average right now.

The debt was highest under Roosevelt, compared to GDP.

The blog article talks about .6 billion for a year vs. 10 billion a month in Iraq.

The amount of money wasted and stolen in Iraq in a month dwarfs the number quoted THAT WILL BE SPENT IN OUR COUNTRY ON OUR PEOPLE!!!! What a concept.

Eight years of runaway wasteful spending by Republican AND NOW they get religion?? Great timing hypocrites.

85% of our total federal debt was rung up under Republican leadership.

Those tax cuts they say they give you aren't tax cuts, they're IOU's - or maybe they should be called UOU's!

War spending is outside of the earmarks to which this post is referring.

Your fairly new here so i don't expect you to be aware that I've been just a critical as the right as I have been of the left in regards to wasteful spending, no one is innocent.

Super, so what? When are one of the two parties going to grow a pair and actually stop the increases in spending?

They sure did look like cuts according to my 1040 form.
