Nope, the idea was to prolong the outcome. With superdelegates flipping and flopping, the chaos seems to have lingered.

Unconfirmed reports on an unknown blog from some unnamed mook saying that maybe a couple superdelegates might want a chance to cast a vote for Hillary?

That's the "chaos" you're talking about?

Ummmmmm..... is this your first election cycle?

I would concur, usually.

However, we are talking about the most powerful Democrat family in the country currently with the Clintons. Nothing is impossible. Hillary has tons of friends in Washington, some would argue more than Obama.

So, I can see a huge fight going on at convention. Bill fighting hard for his wife.

Ain't gonna happen. Hilly knows it would be the end of her career if she is seen as destroying Obama's candidacy.

Ain't... Gonna... Happen.

OK, so I get a anonymous neg rep for being a "dreamer" because I don't think much of an unnamed idiot in an unread blog saying that there are unconfirmed reports that a couple unnamed superdelegates might want a chance to vote for Hillary before giving their support to Obama at what will be a very tightly scripted, carefully choreographed convention.

Whatevah.

when obama loses, Hillary and Bill will be viewed as geniuses who were right all along. they know this, and are waiting. obama is losing ground fast. if you aren't able to see that, i don't know what earth, oh jovial one, you are existing on.

I stopped reading at "unconfirmed reports".
Laughable.

The concern about this should not be so much whether supers might really switch, but in the zeal the Hillary backers still have and how much they want to derail Obama. The democrats can't deny Obama the nomination or they risk the whole black constituency. However if he is forced to step down, then Hillary can step in with no blood on her hands (that we can see). Hillary's plan is to run in 2012 when McCain does not seek a second term. For that to work she needs Obama to lose.
