Maybe that is why, when Sadaam gassed the Kurds in 1988, the US was alone in abstaining at the United Nations from condemnation of the atrocity. Found it difficult to criticise a murderous, old friend?

But it certainly inspired a hellish burst of righteous indignation when you got all-riled-up FOURTEEN YEARS LATER.

No, I don't believe everything I read in a newspaper, but when it is in The Independent AND BBC News - I have a tendency to believe it. Once again, British media are far less independent and unbias than the American media (with the possible exception of the Washington Post, NY Times and LA Times).

Please note the numbers that look made up - I'll be happy to refute your charges.

1. Who cares?
2. What has that got to do with Bush (or this election)?

I try to make my points as concise as possible to enable more people to actually read it. The only point that your post made to me was, "you really hate Bush."
