Default The Iraqi/Pakistan Border? Uh, Sen. McCain.....

The McCain campaign needs to limit his access to people with video cameras and/or tape recorders.

Quote:
And it was McCain who owns the first big gaffe of the trip -- appearing to confuse Iraq and Afghanistan.

Asked by ABC's Diane Sawyer Monday morning whether the "the situation in Afghanistan in precarious and urgent," McCain responded:

"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border," said McCain, R-Ariz., said on "Good Morning America."

Iraq and Pakistan do not share a border. Afghanistan and Pakistan do.

Hey... at least he didn't say the Iraq/Czechoslovakia border...

I can't imagine how embarrassing this must be to McCain supporters, especially with the success Obama is having on this trip to the middle east...

how long until the RNC gets him found medically senile so that they can select an alternative candidate with a chance at winning?

You know I been thinking the same thing. McCain is their sacrificial lamb. The GOP is in trouble and having the Dems. in charge for a term would give 'em some time to get their act together.

This is exactly the type of nonsense all the obama haters bring up. And it drives you guys up the wall. Just like that thing where obama said drop bomb on pearl harbor instead of bombs. It is a simple mistake, and has no bearing on anything of substance!!

Lets not be hypocrites, and resort to the same type of nonsense the anti-obama nut-jobs do!!
