This is one of the funniest posts i have seen.

I do believe that he does need to pick someone that reflects youth and vigor. There may be some people that will not vote for him because of his age.

Why laugh? Obama needs to do the same thing....considering he won't know HOW to be president and will need someone to guide him.

From the number of votes that he garnered in the primaries there are a number of people that think he is very ready to be president.

What the he!! was I thinking? Better take her to Baskin Robbins now.

Romney's the big odds on favorite, and his Intrade stock is soaring, but I'm still thinking he will choose Pawlenty. Romney would be appealing if McCain was having a difficult time solidifying the Republican conservative vote (although his religion a bit of a liability among some) but the polls are showing that isn't the case. He badly needs to appeal to Independents, and choosing Romney could potentially lose some Independent McCain leaners. The other reason to choose Romney might be to gain some traction in the midwest but Pawlenty could do the same.

I think this could be a real smart or dumb move by hoping to take away the media from Obama's trip the only problem is what if the media covers the trip instead of McCain's vp selection. I think it is worth the risk.
I think McCain should pick a woman. Here are 3 party icons who would appeal to the GOP "base" of survivalists, segregationists, isolationists, gun nuts, anti-flouride radicals, Clinton-haters and dentists.
