I think this could be a real smart or dumb move by hoping to take away the media from Obama's trip the only problem is what if the media covers the trip instead of McCain's vp selection. I think it is worth the risk.

I hope McCain/Romney. Romney would bring youth, good looks, energy, a connection to the conservative base, and economic expertise to the ticket. Not to mention Massachusetts.

But I'm sure there are other good ones as well and that McCain will make the correct choice for the country.....someone who could take over on Day One if necessary.
