All the previous television dinosaurs were grey, while the pigment in Barney's suit is purple for the first time ever. I believe this warrants extreme special and extra treatment from the press. I also believe that those of you who don't like Barney secretly don't like him because of the purple pigmentation, your other complaints are just to cover your bias.
