I think it is very likely Jindal knows that he isn't going to be the VP choice, nobody turns that deal down defintely someone that actually likes McCain.

Jindal looked like a really good choice. The negative was he was sorely hurting for experience. Maybe we'll hear him speak at the convention.

I think other than McCain and the VP you will hear Jindal, Huckabee (get the Christians excited), Romney, Pawlenty (If he isn't the VP),Lielberman and a woman. W is already scheduled to be the opening night prime time speaker.

Because the McCain camp wants Bush GONE before McCain arrives at the convention to accept the nomination.

First is the question of how to give President Bush a forum as the party's two-time nominee but at the same time keep McCain at a distance from the unpopular incumbent. The answer, according to McCain aides, will be to have Bush give a speech on the first night of the convention—a Monday—and let him have the moment to himself. McCain isn't scheduled to arrive in Minneapolis-St. Paul, the convention site, until Tuesday at the earliest, after Bush leaves, which means that, at this point, the two men won't be seen with each other that week.

Kind of opens McCain up for backlash from attacking B.O. on experience doesn't it (if he chose Jindal I mean).

Remember the threads when this was happening to Obama, and all the Obama opponents who said it was clearly a sign of Obama's status as a loser nobody wanted to touch?
Yes and note the differences.

Obama has lost every major VP pick he had that could have helped him where he badly needs it but Randell(PA)..and its highly unlikely Randell would accept either. Most of them out of the blue hell no's.

McCain has one person only slightly less unlikely to have been picked then Liebermann ...well into the process... saying he knows he's not going to be picked but will help McCain as much as possible.

Big difference.

You're smart enough to note the differences..but you're also so attached to the (D) that you have problems admitting it.
