The kind of a slip up a man might make in the middle of a long trip overseas with little time for sleep?

And let's examine the effect of this "lie."

He said "my committee." Did he REALLY think that, if he were lying, no one would catch it?

Or, and be reasonable here, is it MORE likely that he just (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up and said "my committee" when he meant "my bill"?

Now, I know the ME HATEE OBAMA crew likes attaching on every time the man says "um" as a sign of weakness, and this is an obvious (*)(*)(*)(*)up. But it is completely understandable -- ESPECIALLY when you consider that the man has NOTHING to gain by FOOLING people into thinking it was HIS committee, when the fact that it was his BILL that is the thing you would THINK he wanted to promote.

But you go with whatever works for you. Either Obama is a nefarious villain who wanted to FOOOOOOOOOL people into thinking he was on the Banking Committee, or -- in the middle of an exhausting, whirlwind trip, this exhausted human being said "my committee" when he meant "my bill."

I would suspect that would be at least slightly embarrassing for the Obama campaign

It's quite simple, really.

Now, what we need now is for one of our ME HATEE OBAMA kids to explain what Obama had to gain by this "lie."

Go.

A reasonable response, it's still fun to make fun of them for it!

A bit, I suppose.

Stack it next to -- in the past few days...

Referring to Czechoslovakia, not once, not twice, but three times... a country that hasn't existed in 15 years...

Having the Iraqis endorse Obama's withdrawal plan...

Saying the Surge happened BEFORE the Sunni Awakening...

Saying the Surge PROTECTED the Sheik who started the Sunni Awakening, when in fact he was killed in an ambush DURING the Surge...

Referring to the Iraq/Pakistan border, when those two countries are not connected...

Telling a Pittsburgh TV station that he recited the Defensive Front Four of the Steelers as members of his unit to his captors, when in his book -- and every OTHER time he told the story -- that football team was the Packers...

Saying we need to deal with Somalia in regards to Darfur, when it's SUDAN...

Which one of these candidates has the most to be embarrassed about?

This guy Obama is starting to make George W. Bush look like a rocket scientist!! <G>

I realize they get tired on these long trips, but really.....NOT knowing which Committee you are on and which ones you are NOT on???????

I also notice how when he's asked a question about something he said in the past, he does this little trick....

"Well, you know, I've always said that......."

Problem is he hasn't "always said that".....he just wants you to believe he has.

Have to love that TJO double standard.
