Default Obama Continues to Uphold Promise To Change Politics In America

For those that have no heard, around the country, Obama supporters are sitting down at parties in supporter homes, in libraries, cafes, community centers, etc. to help the DNC and Senator Obama develop the Democratic Platform for 2008. Policy Reps are traveling the country to hear from individual Americans, and our voices are being heard.

To those who Doubt that Obama will live up to his promises, here is yet another example of where you are wrong.

He has promised to change Politics in America for the better, and for the first time every, a major party's platform is going to include input from the Average American.

That is change we can Believe in.

Who are the elitists now?

Well apparently that doesn't include internet forums as you continue to avoid taking questions on Obama policy and only spew crap from his website.

It's laughable, you talk about "his promises" yet no one knows what they really are. Do NOT reference his "blueprint for change" crap.

The only bipartisan thing he has done in the Senate was the loose nukes round up with Lugar but quit frankly who supports loose nukes?

I can't think of anything else that Obama has reached across party lines. While we all know that McCain is disliked by many in the GOP for reaching across the Party lines.

We know much more about Obama's plan for Iraq than McCain's.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/14/op...in&oref=slogin

The OP is correct.

The primaries saw record turnout.
The amount of money raised and how he raised it - from grass roots sources - is without precedent.
He defeated the most powerful political machine in generations, not with platitudes and positive media attention - but with superior organization and strategy and management.
The European trip was unprecedented for a Presidential candidate.
The DNC Convention will be new a different.
People around the world are inspired and are turning out to show support and excitement.

Every step of the way he shows a fresh forward looking perspective. This election has very little to do with John McCain. It's all about Obama. Americans will either decide to put their faith in him or not. Very few will actually be voting for McCain.

Why isn't Obama ahead by more? The media doesn't want him to be. The country is still polarized. And the polling uses benchmarks set by the last election. These numbers don't accurately reflect what the turnout for this election will be. I, for one, hope the numbers stay close. It will ensure the turnout Obama needs. His biggest threat may be complacency by the electorate.

Also, Obama has been busy installing the strategy that will ensure victory. Instead of flooding the airwaves with adds - he's been putting most of his money and resources into an overwhelming ground game.

All McCain has been doing is firing people, accepting resignations, hiring attack dogs and putting his feet in his mouth daily!

And yet McCain's voting record shows just the opposite

Newsflash, talk is never proof of anything when it comes to promises.

With the exception of one response to this thread, I see resentment from conservative members of this forum.

You have no facts to dispute my post, because you all realize that he has changed politics.

It's not just talk, he has provided action.

You sound bitter. I would be too if the people I voted for betrayed me the way GW and the Republican Congress betrayed you.

That's why I don't trust what they say and I could never vote for McCain over Obama.

THEY/HE HAS ALREADY BROKEN MY TRUST! HE EARNED MY NON VOTE!

Obama has not. As a matter of fact - his actions have matched his words thus far - which is kinda the point of the thread.

Oh, so it is YOU Dems in your homes and cafes who are instructing Obama to weaken his stance on when he'd bring troops home to now include George W. Bush's policy of "conditions on the ground." Glad to hear it!!
