Default Kennedy Tribute at Democratic Convention

The Democrat Convention"honored" Ted Kennedy tonight as though he were something other than he is. Here's my tribute to this piece of human debris.

The house was only 150 yards from the scene of the accident, with another one right across the street. The owners said they were home with the back porch light on which would be able to be seen from the bridge. Kennedy said there was no light on, so he must have looked. Even if that were so, the house is just a few yards from the road, anyone sober would have to have seen it while going by. Kennedy could have went to the door and used the phone, even if there was no one there, he could have broken in and called for help, but he walked 3 miles home for a nap instead. I'm sure the Senator had enough money to fix the door or a window. Since it was a life and death emergency, no charges would have been filed for breaking in. There was a fire station approximately a mile and a half from the crash scene. The most amazing part was he wasn't even charged with involuntary manslaughter at the very least, since he was driving with an expired license for five months.

How can anyone honor him with a straight face?

So here's to you Ted may you rot where you belong

is such a great thing today, especially if one was nine at the time, isn't it, prof?
The guy is still a US senator today. So you imply that he did:
a: a fairly good job? Or...
b: US American voters since all those decades are plain stupid?

You pick. I'll watch

Feel the hate. The righties can't, or won't, attack Kennedy on substance, so they dredge up a decades old story, something they don't want us to do with McCain. Their hypocrisy is something else.

He did a great job of letting that girl drown.

Inquest Exhibit #14 - Sketch of Mary Jo Kopechne's position in accident car prepared under the direction of scuba-diver John Farrar.

*Note: Original Water Level refers to pocket of air trapped in car.

Mary Jo got out of the front seat and went to the air pocket waiting for help, here she eventually drown, Ted Kennedy never went for help, instead he went home and went to sleep. Imagine the terror she must of felt as the water slowly over took her. Kennedy went HOME and went to sleep. I can only hope his brain tumor causes him as much pain and anxiety as Mary Jo before she died waiting for help that never came.

Decades or not Mary Jo Kophene is still dead isn't she, and her family still had to do without her for those decades. it's not like Kennedy hurt her feeling for cripes sakes, he went home and let her slowly drown. Decades or not please explain why that's OK with you?

Please dig up the story where McCain left an innocent girl to drown while he went home?

Yes, she's dead, and he'll have to answer to God for that. Meanwhile, the hatred of the man is a sick obsession with some right wingers. If you want to keep up the obsession, then don't be telling me that I can't make an issue out of the "old news" of McCain's past adultery.

Kennedy isn't running for office anyways.

The anger of Mary Jo's father is understandable, but if it's to the point where he wants to kill Kennedy, then I say he needs professional help.

Oh, really? Bush is in office TODAY, and has been screwing up on the job for over seven years now. There's plenty of reason to be angry with him.

What Kennedy did was really deplorable, but the Kennedy haters act as if it were a personal attack on them. Even then, after 30 some years, normal people would let go of the anger and hatred, but some right wingers have not done so. Those people need professional help.
