Which is approx 3 days worth of the subsidies currently being paid to the oil companies. The facts are the technology is ready right now to replace the mode of transportation for about 81% of today's driving. Its just too expensive. I have a viable plan. Take that 300 million dollars and a little more and subsidize the production of alternative vehicles to lower their cost.

You are correct. Thank you for making that fantastic point. So why would you want to keep doing what we've been doing?

I hope they do, but we should wait for McCain to deliver his speech...that's if he remembers, of course...

All from one speech? Wow! This guy must be the 2nd coming, but more likely Satan!

Here we go. The Dems sold off rhetoric that Obama absolutely cannot deliver on. Of course, if you want your taxes to increase and you want to give the government more of your hard earned money, vote for BO.

And the part where he says he will lower taxes for 95% of workers?

Edit: and satan isn't real btw. The Bible barely mentions him tbh- unless you ignore the blatant Animalism of Genesis. I was so surprised when I went looking for him being mentioned, under any name. Blimey- talk about revisionist history.

He is a brilliant orator (people were crying at the speech) but he lacks any sustenance. His plan is vague and elusive like most Liberal plans as he speaks for macro changes without the micro implementation procedures. The government has proven time and time again they have no clue what to do when it comes to things like education, healthcare, social security and I doubt that he has either. He's getting better, he only said change 14 time. When speaking about Pastor Wright, he said "UH" like 30 times. He's a teleprompter orator, what an embarrassment he'll be when he has to speak without on to foreign dignitaries.

YouTube - Barack Obama "Uh" Count
Didn't seem to have much trouble in that regard when he visted the Middle East and Europe. Huh, I wonder if that response was scripted somewhere in his campaign. Works wonders.

Oh and you actually still care about your leader embarrsing you? Good for you, don't get jaded.

It is called a political promise he cannot keep, but if people want to "believe" his rhetoric then go for it. I certainly do not and I suppose come November we will find out just how good of a salesman BO really is. Mr. Change-man himself, out with the old, in with the new, except of course my VP running mate who after 30+ years in congress will help me effect change - DUH!

OK. Even BO won't agree with you on this, but you keep saying that to yourself.

And if he'd chosen someone from outside you'd have ignored their newness appeal, and stated they'll be just the same as anyone else- as you do here with Obama.

I'm happy enough with Biden, if hes still the agent of change Obama says he is. But then I'm not one of those brainwashed followers the...opposition has constucted. Only those opposed to Obama call him a Messiah, the rest of us aren't so stupid/cynical/desperate or have given up hope that democracy canactually work.

Anywya, as you say we'll see. I trust his words far more than I trust yours regariding what he'd do though. You know he also pre-empted responses such as yours right?

Why, cause hes christian? Ha! Its one religion per person with you lot, you have no idea what ideas your closest relatives will truly hold, let alone Obama. Not that I care regardless.

Seriously though, God punishes snakes for Christ's sake- classic animalism- I could find plenty of that stuff here in the Aboriginal religion for instance. No mention of satan till later, and that embellished story about his fall? A feather's worth of biblical backing. Maybe Satan wouldn't have had such an easy time convincing people he didn't exist, only if he was mentioned in the 1st few thousand years.
