Sorry to disappoint you, but the attacks have been on her as a working mom. Sarah Palin clearly isn't a focus on the family supporter, she's worked since her kids were tiny. So, why exactly is SHE the focus of THEIR hypocrisy? Why are all the attacks directed at HER? Why is she the "bad, selfish mother"?

I find it curious. Maybe you have insider perspective and can explain this to us, Bird.

My attacks on Palin have never been based on her being a working mother. I applaud her for that.

I attack her because of her extreme views that she does not back up in her political life or in her home. If you are going to preach abstinence only better make sure your house is in order.

Well, I'm just not sure what you're talking about. I HAVE expressed concerns that discussion of the Palin family matters could take us down the path to where people would once again be singing the mantra of keeping Mom home.

I've also said that if it were me, I'd probably find having a pg teen and a special needs infant overwhelming enough to not take one something as arduous as political campaigning, but that I'm me and not Sarah Palin.

What I DO see is a lot of hysterical effort by the right wing to try to intimidate any critics of Palin into silence.

I agree with the first paragraph. I'm fine with a "working mom" running for office. I just can't stand Palin's conservatism. It seems like her admirers try to portray criticism of her on issues as attacks on her as a working mom instead.

However, I won't fault her for her daughter's pregnancy. No matter what parents teach their kids, s*** happens. Or, more precisely, hormones happen.
