It's so funny, that about everything Kerry has said in the past, has come back to haunt him. In this month's issue of Running Magazine. Kerry once stated he ran the Boston Marathon back in the early 70's. Of course, no one can seem to find a record of him running, even though names have been recorded for this marathon for decades.

I don't know how he gets so many passes on these kind of things.

This is sad. Liberals attack Bush for lying about WMD, resulting in 1000+ American deaths. Cons attack Kerry because he lies about running a mathon. Which is more important?

These guys are really graspin for straws.

Again, this has been discussed before. Kerry's plan, as one of his advisers described it, was to "call Iran's bluff": supply them with nuclear fuel -- tagged, counted and monitored — in exchange for Iran ending its enrichment program. Unless you're willing to invade Iran — and even if we were, Iraq makes that impossible — this is a reasonable approach, which brings their nuclear program under observation and makes any separate Iranian program an automatic violation.

Bush's solution is to send in inspectors backed by the threat of force. Wait a minute: isn't that the approach he pooh-poohed in Iraq? And any threat of force isn't credible, since about the only unit we have available to attack them with is a Reserve public affairs battalion.

Now, personally, I think the inspections in Iraq worked — hence the lack of WMDs. But I don't see how you guys can back Bush in Iraq AND back his plan in Iran.
