Default Remember, always Remember

Today is the 7th anniversary of the worst and most heroic day in American history. So as Americans we all need to just put aside our difference because this is a lot more important.

How can we help but not remember when we're constantly being reminded of it 24/7? And it's just your opinion as to this day's significance.

It's a tragic day for sure; but we've had darker moments.

Gotta agree with the rabbit here. It isn't just one day a year we are reminded, it is everyday. Everytime the subject of terrorism comes up, 9/11 is mentioned.

No one will ever forget that day. Ever. 100 years from now, everyone will know what happened, and the events that led up to it.

While most people around the world remember 9/11, it would be nice if America could actually remember the dates of other terror attacks, such as Bali, Madrid, and London, for example. Think of the other countries, too.

Personally, I feel December 7th belongs next to September 11th and that both should be days of mourning and reflection on the attacks on US soil that occurred on those days in the past century.

My prayers and thoughts are with all who lost friends and family seven years ago and with those who have lost friends and family since due to the wars that followed. I will also say some special prayers today for my grandson-in-law who is currently in Iraq and for his comrades there and in Afghanistan.
