Anyone who thinks that Cheney won't run for President if Bush is re-elected is kidding themselves. And if Cheney wins, he'll run for re-election.

Do any of you honestly believe this crap that you post here, or do you just hate Bush? Because I cannot believe the stuff I see posted here. Have any of you been paid to spout these lies against the Bush administration? Or are have you been influenced by all the political rhetoric? This is for just Americans, because I know those of you who are living outside of the US get very little actual truth from the media. Americans, are you that blind? Have any of you listened to or read the transcripts of the presidents speeches? I am not a conspiracy theorist, but the entire political campaign against the President is based on 1 lie after another and I cannot believe the irresponsibility and/or looking the other way of all these lies. I challenge any of you to post 1 shred of evidence that 1) Bush linked 911 to Iraq in any way, 2) Bush stated the sole reason for going into Iraq was WMD's, 3) Sadam was in no way connected to terrorism. If anyone can show me a direct quote, audio or video of any of these, I will vote for Kerry and become a registered Democrat. Before all of you start salivating over this think about this, I am not talking about a CNN, Al-Jazeera, Kerry or Edwards, MSNBC, BBC or basically any other second hand statement without evidence. I want a factual direct quote or irrefutable evidence of these statements. Any takers?

The Republicans sure have done their best to imply a connection between Iraq and 9/11.

In June on CNBC, Cheney said "we don't know" whether Iraq was involved in 9/11, and said he "probably" had information that the 9/11 Commission did not. That created a brief firestorm until it was determined that, no, in fact, he didn't have additional info. But he was clearly trying to continue the impression that an Iraq-9/11 link existed.

In September 2003, on "Meet the Press", Cheney said Iraq under Saddam had been "the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11." Again, an implied connection between Iraq and 9/11.

The formal war resolution adopted by Congress in October 2002 includes this in its conclusion:

That explicitly ties Iraq to 9/11. Bush later copied this section in a March 18, 2003, letter to Congress, notifying Congress that he was about to use force against Iraq — thereby officially tying Iraq to 9/11.
