CBS news poll find winner is... Edwards

Yep, sounds credible with disproportionate number of republicans in the poll:

And even despite the poll's pro-republican bias Kerry/Edwards gained 2 points as STA already indicated.

That's because more Republicans tuned in. So of course more were sampled. What do you have to refute it? An online poll? A poll taken by two entities in charge of the largest media scandal in print and the largest media scandal in broadcast news ever?

even fewer democrats at ABC felt their guy won. That says it all.

A good firewall will let you vote numerous times. No firewall - delete your cookies and history and simply vote again. Some online polls have no safegaurds - and you can just vote over and over. Boils down to who has the time and inclination to do it.

Look, I thought Cheney did well, and if there was a winner of the debate, it was him. But take off the blinders.

Solid points. Cheney counts things up differently, but neither was wrong on their numbers. And the comparison to the first Gulf war is telling -- a true coalition of allies all sending troops and money, not a paper coalition of the U.S. and dozens of tiny countries that aren't actually doing anything in Iraq.

A distortion. He voted for a Democratic resolution authorizing the president to use force against Saddam with some strings attached, but voted against a GOP resolution that essentially gave Bush the elder a blank check.

A reasonable point, but Kerry is just calling a spade a spade. U.S. speechwriters drafted Allawi's speech before Congress; John Negroponte decided to cancel a media interview Allawi had agreed to give, until the Bush administration realized such actions might undercut the appearance of independence for Allawi.

And effectively defended by Edwards, who noted that the GOP claim of 98 tax hike votes is not only misleading, it ignores the 600 times Kerry voted to CUT taxes. And that Cheney attacking Kerry for voting to cut weapons systems is especially rich since they are the same weapons systems Cheney himself sought to cut.

But Edwards clearly led in the misinformation category. According to fact check it was about 6-4. And that includes the "first time we've met" comment which Cheney clearly meant in reference to his job in the senate.

you're right, it said fact check and I assumed it was the web site. But factcheck.org is clearly missing a few. CNN's link clearly spells out the items that factcheck is missing.
