Default What does Obama Know about Black Copmmunities?

He was raised by a white family! He has not experienced what black people experience in the slums. He went to an Ivy league school, laid around and smoked dope all during college.

How can he pass as such a messiah?
Its mind boggling!

Skin color trumps experience and character in the democrat party.

LOL at your bigoted assumption that the black community is all living in slums. Just that fact makes this topic unworthy of serious discusssion.

Well if you saw the statisics of how few Blacks were at the GOP convention maybe you would say that skin color trumps experience and character in the republican party! LOL

Their skin color is on the other ticket.

Also skin color means nothing in the republican party. For instance, Jindal is a rising star and may very well be the first Indian American president one day.

You're not making any sense ! Democrats were the first to break the woman on the Veep ticket. Democrats were the first to open up their party to Blacks and I know after a big fight and with the White Southeners walking out and forming the anti civil rights Dixiecrats who virtually all either died off or became Southern Republicans.

Piyush Jindalh may a a "rising star" for now but he is a light weight with less than 2 years experience as governor do you think that the Republicans would be stupid enough to put such a person so short on experience on the ticket ?

Must really irk you too, that the republican ticket offers so little that black republicans would leave in such droves that hardly one was left to speak at the convention. I doubt that's what really happened, but if it did that must explain the lack of Veterans (as speakers) at the convention. Maybe it's not all skin color after all.

Palin won’t say whether veep is an executive post - Does this scare anyone else? It terrifies me.

Probably the biggest irony of this election is that there is a possibility of having a Palin-Pelosi administration in the next 8 years.

Thank you for making my point. If the republicans where hung up on skin color, Jindal would have been pushed to run and would have been nominated with not enough experience and no knowledge of his character. But, at last, the republican require more than just skin color. You and I are on completely different wavelengths. You want to argue party makeup and not party substance. It is unfortunate that the majority of minorities are poor and look to the democrats for handouts and socialism (poor whites do too) but that has nothing to do with what skin color means in the republican party.

I don't judge people based on their skin color. There probably are plenty of non-whites that have left the party for legit reasons. Georgie has been the most moronic president in my lifetime. I cringed everytime I saw him take the stage as far back as 2000 or whenever he started campaigning nationally. The guy was obviously a moron then and I for one was pissed that McCain didn't get the nomination back then.
