Why?

Because it's the truth?

Some Republicans don't care about truth, their objective is to win the election even if they have to lie to do it.
What's worse is they do have to lie about it, that's the truth too.

McCain brought it upon himself by playing fast and loose with the truth. If you want an honest man as president, McCain's not the man. (I'm not saying that Obama is honest, just that McCain isn't.)
