Default McCain and his townhall meetings...

McCain keeps pushing for townhall meetings. It seems many tend to feel that having them is to McCain's advantage, but I'm not convinced. I think Obama would do well to get his message out.

How many does he want, where? How would they be conducted?

Anyway, I've heard both McCain and Palin today. Both were spouting their same old disingenuous stump speeches. Palin was shrieking... "the great state of Alaska blah, blah, blah... Alaska, Alaska... "

You can't use a teleprompter at a town meeting, so Obama would be stuttering and stammering the entire time.

Obama with 10 point lead: I don't need to do stinking town hall meetings with you

Obama behind and in free fall: Hey, those town halls you were talking about, what a great idea!

He has proven he doesn't need one. (i.e. on O'Reilly, at the Warren interview: both venues that don't favor him and he did great).

Think so? I thought he did fine with O'Reilly.

It's not like McCain doesn't trip over his words from time to time. I saw one interview when questioned about birth control, or something, he was speechless!

He flopped at both.

The proof is in the pudding. McCain challenged him to meet at 10 town hall meetings months ago, and Obama is hiding.

If Obama thought he wouldn't flop again, he would do them.

Did Obama say that? McCain's the one that keeps calling for them. Sounds rather childish while doing it too.

How expectation have tumbled if you consider either of those "great".

Obama has no back bone, no real leadership skills or he would step up to this challenge!
