It's a two-person ticket, and the selection of Palin reflects heavily on McCain's judgement. He's picked someone who has problems telling the truth and who hides from the media so she doesn't expose her lack of knowledge, have to answer unpleasant questions or address her, uh, "misstatements."

That is an interesting question. McCain cannot run without Palin. Palin cannot talk to the press.

We all know what this is all about. People who support Palin do so on an emotional level like watching live wrassilin' or the last episode Survivor. They don't like a great deal of information screwing up their emotion based decisions. Palin appeals to Bush people for the same reason they like Bush. They don't like to think and they certainly don't like to think deep. Palin is Bush in dress. Palin people still love George Bush.

They do not support her for her political positions on most issues because they don't know what her positions are. No one does, except perhaps McCain's people and they do not want her talking to the press.

McCain's best and only shot is to hope the Palin celebrity hysteria lasts until November. It won't last if she has to talk to anyone other than Fox News.

Your broad brush stereotyping really gets on my nerves. We all have different reasons for liking the McCain/Palin ticket. We are not all 'Bush bots'... or the other term you and your ilk likes to use... 'neocons'.
