A rebuttal to THAT? All that I have been able to discern that Obama has done in his so-called "community organizing" days is get people new jobs. That is not even 1/1000th of the responsibility of government!

As I and other pointed out he has shown he an easily articulate his position without a telepromter. What we should be questioning is his positions and not making up reasons to make him look bad.

He has no record of bipartisanship and is one of the most extreme liberals around!
His record clearly shows that he negotiates with the other side. He doesn't come at them kissing their asses, but negotiates his position down to the point of a compromise, ultimately hoping to be balanced in his favor.
He does not ignore the other side, nor does he coddle to them from the beginning due to some fake notion that centrism is an end in itself.

And BTW if you think Obama's "one of the most extreme liberals around" you either have no knowledge of his record or have no knowledge of the records of other liberal politicians. You're just blowing smoke... as I would expect.

If you think that "community organizing" = "running government" is a painful truth, then I cannot reason with you! Did you even think that one through?

His record shows that he votes present if there is one thing he cannot except in a bill. That is not compromise. And yes, he is the most liberal senator. Someone who advocates giving handout checks because it is the "fair" thing to do is someone I consider a liberal extremist. Such action does nothing to promote the future growth of this country. I don't like the pay inequality that exists today but it isn't going to be fixed with hatchet job wealth redistribution! Barack Obama is what you have when you take all the wounds of this country and try to put bandaids on them. Totally ignoring any insight of how to stop getting wounded.

And this is one of the reasons the international community likes him so much. The current administration has a list of nations it will not speak to under any circumstances, any discussion have to handled by a third party.

Even if Obama is not prepared to give any ground to these people, the mere act of sitting down and listening to them could make a difference. They may go away and say, that Obama guy is okay, maybe can do buisness down the line. Or the reverse, Obama gets a deeper understanding of a conflict, even if he has no intentions of changing things. It might give him an idea for the future

But simply to say, talk the hand, the face aint listening, effectively achieves nothing
