"Spain" means "some country in Latin America that we oppose."

"David Petraeus" means "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."

"Iraq" means "Afghanistan."

"Russia" means "Germany."

"Troop levels are down to pre-surge levels" means "we have 20,000 more troops in Iraq than before the surge began."

"Sold a jet on eBay at a profit" means "sold a plane through a broker at a loss."

"Never requested earmarks as governor" means "Requested hundreds of millions of dollars of earmarks as governor."

"Obama will raise taxes on electricity" means "Obama has no plans to raise taxes on electricity."

"Obama will tax heating oil" means "Obama will provide a $1,000 rebate toward the cost of heating oil."
