If this is found to be true there will be a constitutional crisis and therefore, is a big deal. There is legitimate doubt about Obama's citizenship.

If you are going to hurl petty insults, at least try to follow the plot.
It was the republicans' unbridled zealotry for deregulating anything that moves that has caused the scandalous situation that you see today.
When your retorts are so delusional, you lose any credibility on the matter.

And you will have to notice that all of the solutions now center on the traditional democratic principle of intelligent regulation rather than on demagogic, delusional hyperbole such as "we will eliminate greed!" as offered by McCain.

The problem lies in the fact that the Bush administration tried to turn the clock back to the Hoover era.
They have tried to undo or ignore all the economic, workplace and environmental regulations and social and safety nets that democratic governments have enacted since FDR because their corporate patrons demanded it and because their philosophy is essentially to cater to those special interests rather than to serve the public.
Well, guess what? Trickle down economics and laissez-faire neglect doesn't work.
People who carp about regulations forget the lessons of history.
These laws weren't enacted on a whim. They were the result of corporate greed and neglect run amok that needed to be reined in before the country was turned into one vast sweat shop with Love Canals on every corner and old people living under bridges fighting with cats over leftovers in the garbage.

If that's your idea of a brave new world, then it's no surprise that you would vote for McCain.

You might want to educate yourself a bit before posting such nonsense, and also stop throwing stones around in your little glass house.
The fact is that McCain was born in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone.
In 1937, a law was passed that conferred citizenship on children of American parents born in the Canal Zone after 1904, which means that McCain was not actually a US citizen until just before his first birthday.

I mention this just to illustrate your profound ignorance on the matter.
I am quite happy to accept that McCain is a US citizen and perfectly eligible to run for president.
I'm not so desperate as to try to attack McCain with the sort of asinine claims about Obama's pedigree that some right wingers are trotting out in an effort to distract from the real issues.

Here's a bit of advice to all the folks on the lunatic fringe of politics- whatever your stripe:
Argue the issues, folks, and leave the cheap character assassination and ridiculous smears out of it.
It only makes you people look like complete idiots and you hurt your own cause.
