Nope, I have written the campaign a letter of outrage. There is no excuse for it. He doesn't need to do that since McCain's campaign is sucking wind anyway. I doubt any of the cons here have called their own candidate on this. That would mean they are admitting he's not perfect and they would have to take their blinders off.

You know what, you know nothing. Throughout the campaign, I have written a letter to the campaign declaring my disappointment when they stretch the truth, like this new Spanish ad, which takes Limbaugh's comments totally out of context. So, don't tell us what we already know about people who are complaining in our own party. I have donated multiple times to Obama and I back up that donation with support and indignation when necessary. What I see from the Republicans is blind support and no reaction from the supporters whatsoever on a general level.

I encourage all my Obama supporting colleagues here to write the campaign and tell them how you feel about these current ads. Do it. It's important that we hold Obama accountable and keep him on track while the Republicans attempt to distract him into going neo-con territory.

I'd be against the lipstick add, but I think it was more designed to grab media spotlight.

I after looking over the bill, the sex ed add is true.

Also, I believe Obama will raise taxes on everyone. He has a record for voting to raise taxes on the middle class.

The ad failed to mention that "sex ed" for kindergartners involves such racy concepts as "don't get into cars with strangers." It's one of those things that is literally true but entirely misleading.

If you would condemn Obama's out-of-context quote of McCain in the ad described in this thread, you should condemn the "sex ed" ad, too.

They both are taking heat from all directions on dishonesty. However, some of McCain's ads that have been labelled lies were in fact 100% true. The sex ed ad was completely true regardless of what Obama said his "intent" might have been.

The bill did not limit kindergarten sex ed to just protection against sexual predators. That is an example of an Obama lie that you seem to have bought.

Fannie and Freddie are at the epicenter of this crisis we are now faced with. And that $200 BILLION failure lays clearly at the feet of the Democrat leaders and fiscally irresponsible Democrats who were at the helm of those organizations and getting ultra-rich off them. We have example after example of Pres. Bush nearly begging the Congress to act in the last several years----McCain and others nearly begging them to act. But the partisan Dems refused to act because they were beholding to the Fannie/Freddie lobbyists and to their voting base. When the Dems were in the Minority, they filibustered such action. While they've been in the Majority, they simply refused to listen to any pleas to act and try to fix Fannie and Freddie. Even now, they show no signs of starting ANY investigations or hearings over this great tragedy. But they sure were QUICK to go after Enron, weren't they?

All we can do is----BOOT 'EM OUT OF OFFICE.
