The 15 panel, bi-partisan group (10 Republicans and 5 Democrats) ruled there was enough evidence to send Subpoenas. They are rejected because McCain sent a team up to Alaska to stop it. Um, this does not sound tainted. Again, Palin is above the law apparently.

Let her and her flunkies go before the panel (ALMOST ALL REPUBLICANS!) and clear her name if she has nothing to hide. Otherwise, this woman is soooo suspect. Here's proof the Democrat at the forefront is a big Obama supporter and a big Alaskan Democrat and Chairman of the Judiciary Committe who has pushed this 'investigation' that he INSISTS must be done during the last few days BEFORE the election!

If Palin is not guilty, stopping this hearing is such an obviously huge mistake that I can't believe even McCain would make it. This leads me to conclude that Palin is guilty and McCain is hoping that delaying this hearing will keep that from getting out before November. McCain is reminding me more and more of Richard Nixon during the Watergate era - and I definitely don't want another Nixon in the White House.

No, the investigation started before she became VP nominee. It started in July 2008 after she fired Monoghan, the police commissioner. Palin said she would cooperate with the inquiry BEFORE McCain picked her. Now she refuses to cooperate.
