What about Palin and her "witchhunter"? How about her extreme right nuttiness and the Iraq war being "God's war". Ironically enough, I have a friend serving in Iraq and guess what, he happens to be a good ol' Muslim. So what's he doing in "God's war". God planned a Muslim to fight on his side?
Why can't he get other Muslims to fight on his side?
Or is it only the extreme crazies from both Muslim and Christian religions that are causing all these problems?

My family were too once voting republicans, but because of the current administrations mess, we are now voting across the aisle.
We need a diplomat to clean up our current situation, with a strong education and someone with experience to help along the way (Biden).
Not sure what Palin can contribute to McCain's old stubborn ways.
Unfortunately I liked the thought of McCain back in 2000, but he didn't get the nomination, simple reason being, his stance on abortion (plus it didn't help he called a lot of evangelical leaders "agents of intolerance").
He sure has changed his personal beliefs now hasn't he? He's changed for the worse now, he ooozes desperation.
He's wanted to become President and will do or say anything now to get the job, not my idea of a man that deserves it.

I love these people who use photoshopped caricatures (like I used to do in grade school) think they have a better handle on reality than the rest of us. So now, a person who is passionately against a war that 80% of us want out of is a terrorist and unamerican. I might not agree with her techniques but this is America still no matter what kind of police state you people want it to be.

My 5 year old can make up better lies than that. If you can't cite reasons that are actually true then either you let others do your thinking for you, or you are a racist. There are no other options.

As of yet, with maybe a week or two on this forum, I have yet to see a republican who has any stand on the issues that isn't based on a bald face lie. Once in a while a ray of intelligence shines through and then is extinguished by the next lie.

Like "How can Obama take money from this poster child for the looniest nut bag of the year, and still claim to support the military? ". This one almost made me throw up. It sounds alot like the mentality that pervaded the country at the beginning of this mess. "Your with me or your a traitor". Remember that? Anyone who questioned the war was against the troops. That was a SAD period in our history.

Well, I agree with ALOT of what she says and I DEFY you to find a bigger supporter of the troops than me. Unamerican is making statements like that one. Traitors are those who think that we don't have the absolute RIGHT of dissension. This is not North Korea or Iran. We can voice our displeasure in this country and still be Americans.

And I find it interesting that noone tried to rush the stage at the democratic convention. However both a Veterans group and the pink people got TV time at the Republican convention. How can John McCain say he "supports the troops" when most Veteran groups don't support him?
