I agree it doesn't matter. The only thing that makes it relevant is the conservative lie that Obama is elitist. Or at least that obama is more elitist than McCain(which he isn't). Otherwise this would be a non issue.

Obama's uppity elitism, as has been pointed out here ad nauseum, has nothing to do with his wealth and everything to do with his attitude

I love the pictures he used, McCain all irritated and pouty, Obama happy and friendly.

I also like how the basis of his argument is flawed.

Actually it's his wife who already had her inherited riches before she married McCain.

But---anyway----who cares? What's it have to do with running the country or anything really?

Jay Leno has a full parking garage of high-end, rare, and antique collector's cars, and I don't know how many houses he has, but I am sure that however many there are, they are all big or expensively located. Would you classify him as elitist?

Where do you people come from? Obama is a millionaire too. Hillary has more money than Obama and John Kerry has more money than Hillary. What is your point? The closest to average Americans out of all 4 candidates is Palin.

Having money does not make you elitist. That is an attitude issue.

Complete and total nonsense, and another lie!!! See this is why people like me can't stand right wing hacks. Here is a defintion of elitist.

Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite— a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes e — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern

Not only that, but us intelligent people(yu nowe eeleetists), want elite people as our leaders, because they are smarter and more capable!!! Our top priorities for picking a leader are intelligence and competence. You guys like moose hunting hockey moms, with a 9th grade understanding of politics. Doesn't reflect very well on you!!
