Default LOL

I now laugh when I think about how the republicans were so confidant after the RNC.

Default debates

I think the debates are a great tool to judge the candidates in their raw form in a pressure situation. I just wish they could ask each other direct questions so that it were more spontaneous and confronational, and less "speech-ey".

Good grief the election is three weeks away, can't you guys just stop with the polling nonsense already.

This election is going to come down to which party can mobilize all their minions on that day in 3 or 4 key states, and what kind of insane, convincing stories they can pull outta their butts to get people to vote.

And of course, who can get a hold of all the absentee-votes in those key states and manipulate the heck out of them while Dan Rather & friends is declaring someone the winner.

Today electoral-vote.com has Bush 274, Kerry 260.

I'm sure it will change again tomorrow so stay tuned.

Default The polls are meaningless

It's such a close race, that all polls pretty much show a split down the middle with the results falling right within the margin of error. They're meaningless. Each day Ken goes shopping for a new poll that shows Kerry up. It's really kinda' funny.

Me: "I wonder which poll Ken will post tonight... Hey Reb, put me down for 5 bucks on Rassmussen tonite, Ken really likes that one."

Reb: "Okay if you insist, but the odds are with Zogby now."

Me: "What are they?"

Reb: "3 to 1"

Me: "Wow... okay then, put me down for Zogby for 30 bucks! C'mon Ken, make me a winnahhh!"

Polls are a non-events that turn into news stories.

Default Bush cleaned Kerry's CLOCK

I really don't care what the Gallop poll says. Bush cleaned Kerry's clock on Friday night. The immediate computer polling showed the Kerry won. But we all know now, it was because Terry McCauliff, the DNC chairman that had e-mailed about a million democrats. Telling them to vote for Kerry as Kerry winning the debate. Many did, even before the debate started. They did that also, during the VP debate, which Cheney won hands down. It's a joke!

State to State POLLING numbers, from local newspapers show that Kerry is way behind in critical battle ground states. And it's the electoral vote that counts. Not the Gallop overall popular vote of the United States. The Gallop poll shows Colorado as a swing state? And the Denver Post shows Bush with a 9-10 POINT LEAD. Now which poll are you going to look at. The Denver Post or the Gallop? Living near Colorado Springs, with President Bush here today. We saw 7000-9000 very loud & cheering supporters of President Bush, with about 50 war protestors? So there went the "swing-state" theory.
