Default How are you getting involved?

I'm sure most here are going to vote, but I'm curious what some of you are doing in addition to this. Are any of you walking door to door, making calls, volunteering at your local headquarters for your candidate?

Is this something you do every election, or is this the first?

Or perhaps you're serving in other ways?

Or perhaps you're willing but don't know where to start?

Or perhaps you wish you could but dont' have time?

Just curious. This seems to be a year where turnout and volunteering will be at an all time high.

I'd get involved if I cared more about the outcome. The two evils are two equal for the concept of the "lesser of two evils" to do much for me. This is what I get when the United Schmucks of America fail to appreciate the great bounty that is Duncan Hunter.

You are absolutely right about Hunter; a Congress full of people of his caliber and character would solve a LOT of our troubles, anon.

Man, Grok, Duncan Hunter was the perfect candidate. I almost thought we wouldn't have to pick from two evils. We would pick somebody genuinely good against somebody genuinely bad.

I live in a blue state, CT. and I'm doing everything I can to fire up my friends and family and associates to vote this November. I've seen more McCain lawn signs than Obama signs here in CT. and with Joe Lieberman campaigning hard for John CT. just might be a red state this November!

Yep I live in a blue state myself, and don't see much chance for change. But I can see where CT would be possible. That would be cool if Joe could deliver that one.

My wife and I both are heavily involved, from voter registration drives, taking campaign calls, going door to door, and educating first time voters on not just the presidential race but also the issues on the CO ballot in Nov.

Yep, I think this is perhaps going to be the most involved election ever. Obviously don't agree with your cause, but can appreciate your hard work for what you believe in. (Sorry, I know this isn't the place for nicey nicey.)
