Do you think many of Bush's die-hard supporters are doing so because they think he is a more moral leader? Because the lives lost in Iraq do not compare with those lost in abortions?

In the last 18 months, there have been over ONE MILLION abortions...
compare that figure to your wildest estimates of our losses in the War on Terror... BTW, I'm pro-choice...

Is it MY responsibility?
No... I am all for taking the responsibility for your own actions... I didn't know being pro-choice meant that I HAD to adopt or foster... lemme run right out to St. Mary's home for the indigent children of teenage sluts.... Thanks for the heads-up.. I'm headed out to pick up my mandatory kid....

To me it's kinda crazy to make such a big issue out of abortion. Bush has been president for four years and abortion is still legal. There have been many instances since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision where Republicans have had control . . . I believe 5 republican presidents, but abortion is still legal. This isn't changing.
If Bush believes life begins at conception, but has allowed embryonic stem cell research to continue while also refusing to further support it . . . . that seems a little crazy. He said something about balancing ethics and science in the second debate. That doesn't sound like he's got such a great conviction about it, just that he wants to keep getting people to vote for him with the fantasy in mind that he's going to abolish abortion. |

Here the president explains his position on federally funded stem cell research. He does not place restrictions on privately funded research.
