Poor man has blundered again. First of all, Republican Herbert Hoover was in office when the stock market crashed in October 1929. There also was no television at the time; TV wasn't introduced to the public until a decade later, at the 1939 World's Fair.

he tried to spin it back! But he failed!

The true beauty of his comments is that they started out with him stating how important it is for someone to know what they are talking about, then he stuck his entire leg down his throat!
