I'd be willing to go out on a limb with my prediction if I wasn't so afraid of voter fraud. I believe it's lead by Democrats who believe that Bush stole the last election giving them justification.

I will go ahead and say that I think Bush will win.

I think that there will be several states that surprise us (some Bush states will go to Kerry and vice versa).

If Bush loses, he will be gracious and go live a happy life in Crawford.

If Kerry loses, he will make Al Gore look like Pollyanna.

Bush/Cheney by double digits... and no worries about voter fraud, election officails are working around the clock throwing out all htose people beagle illegally registered and charging them with voter fraud... and the FBI is allowed to mobilize law enforcement to protect the integrity of the polls...

You may have to walk past a national guard troop but you will be able to vote fairly for a change... no more dead people voting or New Yorkers voting twice...

Default yes exactly

Kerry will be the victor. This will become more apparent after tonights debate. While I don't think it will be a landslide, Kerry will come out on top this November.

IMO the irrelevent popular vote will be quite close. I think Bush will win the electoral vote by 30-40.

Default BUSH

President Bush wins. I haven't sat down and totaled what I think the Electoral votes will be yet. But I don't think it's going to be as close as many of the pundits are saying it is. I think that.....just like in the 2000 race where the polls were wrong......they are probably wrong now. I don't think polling is quite as dependable anymore as it used to be. Things like "Caller ID" prevents a lot of people from even answering their phones when the ID says, "private." So, I don't know how "random" all the polling is anymore.

And I do not think many liberals are accounting for the "October Surprise"

Bush has had all his surprises thrown at him already... unless some more forged documents show up then there will not be much of a surprise for the republicans..

Kerry, on the other hand, is ripe for a little shock a few days before the election... and that surprise will swing the rest of the Bush landslide... those people who are affected by the October surprise and the riled up conservatives will serve to finish Kerry.

Fill me in. I have no clue what the hell "october suprise" is supposed to be. I know it is supposed to be a surprise, but really who started this rumor, and do you have any links that I could look up to learn more about it? Thanks...

If I told you then it wouldn't be a surprise...

But it could be anything....

the supposed Bob Dornan flag urination video...
The news that OBL is alive and well in Iran, coupled with Iran working to develop a nuke....
National Guard and SWAT teams being called in to protect the integrity of the election...
John Kerry's first wife's story...
Kerry's book/Winter Soldier assassination plot/Kerry contributer's ties to Iran

It could be anything I have listed or almost anything else...

And if you want examples of a past October Surprise....

Maine DUI in 2000

My prediction is that some states will be so close, that the election winner will not be known until the next day. I have also seen somewhere that Ohio will have a massive amount of absentee votes, and it will take them a few days to count them all. I predict that the media will be more relentless in their efforts, and as a result, Kerry will win.

October surprise, well last year it was Bush admitting to being arrested for driving drunk 2 days before the election. Not sure about the others, but they happen enough that this phrase is a part of our language.
