Default Please explain

Yesterday everyone thought they should postpone the race, now that McCain did and Obama didnt its a dumb political move?

What McCain did was political, what Obama is doing is trying not to play into McCains hand. It's political on both sides, but I would guess most americans, as I am, are tired of hearing about the canidates, and the constant whining from both sides, and like the fact McCain seems to maybe care. I think Obama believes this will blow over, but if he shows up to the debate alone, he will look weak, and uncaring.

I'm just specualtig here, the American people latch onto some weird stuff sometimes, but this seems to be a pretty big political stunt by both of them. Although it does seem the American people did want them to go back to Washington and at least make it appear they are trying to help now, not just waiting for the election. I believe this will take a few days to play out, but saying its a great/horrible move on McCains part is a bit early. '

McCain is now in free fall. He has no answers and can't beg borrow or steal and answer for an economic problem. I can't understand how he can ask for a vote when he can't do two things at once.

What non-partisan effort?
All I see is partisan politics wearing a "bi-partisan" guise.
Whether you're talking McCain's campaign suspension or the bail-out bill in general.

True. I don't think that most of the American people are in the mood for politics right now. (Except us political nuts, that is.) <G>

He's going back to Washington D. C. to help hammer out a piece of legislation than can pass...and get it done quickly. It will take endless hours into the nights and days to get it done. It's THAT important. It's about priorties on one of the biggest crisis this country has faced since the Great Depression. EVEN Obama keeps saying that. THEY are BOTH Senators. McCain believes it more important right now to step back into his Sentor's role and get this legislation done by working closely with his fellow Senators. Apparently, Obama doesn't consider it a TOP priority.

It's all political, but it shows McCain cares? O-o-o-kay.

McCain's already admitted the economy was his short suit. How's he going to help?

He could always send Palin out on the road to do some stumping for him. Wait, that wouldn't work either......
