Obama looks presidential about like 100% of the time. McCain... rarely. During this campaign, McCain has just melted down. I'm agreeing with you .

I share the same feelings as a few others on this and other sites. If McCain was truly concerned he would have left for Washing last Friday i believe when it was introduced. By him "suspending" his campaign so just a few things to me.

1) This is a purely politically motivated action.

2) He only made this move to attempt to bolster his slipping poll numbers.

3) He doesn't trust his running mate to continue the race without his presence.

This doesnt look to good for McCain the POTUS always has to be able to multi task while making clear and concise decision. We can just past a bill such as this without it being properly reviewed from both sides of the aisle. And of course regulation is absolutely imperative right now.

I so see this in the same light as trying to exploit Gustav. Obama stayed out of the way and was able to raise real money by reaching out to his supporters while McCain took away valuable time and energy from the people of New Orleans so he could get a photo op. Same horse, different name.

And in my opinion, I think he is pulling his ads now because he wants to save that money for the last 2 weeks of the election. I really think we will see a HUGE influx in those last 2 weeks in spending for ads from the McCain camp.

Especially when he thinks that kids with asthma need a breathalizer.

Please, BO looks presidential when he's on a teleprompter and that is about it.

He is getting better at non-rehearsed speeches.
