Give me a break, he doesnt know a (*)(*)(*)(*) thing about economics and he has said it himself. So what is he going to fix besides showing up and making the progress that has already been made dwindle to nearly nothing?

McCain isn't putting country first at all. This a strictly political move in order to do two things:

1) Keep Palin from sticking her foot in her mouth again as she did with Katie Couric.

2) Keep her from embarrassing herself on the national stage by debating Senator Biden.

If McCain can't handle more than one issue at a time how will he effectively lead this country?

Furthermore, this process is apart of our constitution or maybe that doesn't matter anymore either. Stop ducking the issues McCain we have too much on the line for your typical Karl Rove bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

except proposing a joint statement to convey the ideas both have simultaniously presented. And holdinga press conference to fully explain his actions and again to express his requirements for this to get his vote. And to say he will fly to Washington for the vote. And to continue talking to the American people instead of going where he is not needed and would only be a distraction. And continuing to show that he wants the people to see where he stands on the issues by wanting to debate on the one thing he knows McCain would beat him at. And showing the American people he can multi-task.

I guess other than that stuff, he's doing nothing.
