Default I'm voting for Obama

I might as well. Too bad McCain had to win the Republican nomination. What do you think?

"Might as well" is a great reason to vote!!

If you're doing it for "might as well" reasons, what lands you on Obama's side of the ledger instead of McCain's?

I say vote for the person you think would be best for this country based on their policies, no matter if you think they will win or not. If you disagree with McCain, don't vote for him. If you think he is the one who can pull us out of this crisis, you better cast your vote to reflect that.

I have similar sentiments. Conservatives don't really have a choice this election, again. My vote is still not going to Obama but if I HAD to vote for one of the two, it would be Obama solely based on temperament, because in my opinion, their policies are the same (*)(*)(*)(*) with a different label.

Hopefully, if McCain loses, the GOP will realize they are alienating the conservative base of their party by putting up dunces like McCain as their nominee and it will lead to some restructuring of the GOP.
