Well, I'm hesitant to point fingers at someone because of their religious practice. What I don't like is that she will probably bring this into the VP office. She's a fundamentalist and will have a hard time separating some of her more extreme views with her office. When it comes to war, social issues, and American freedoms, people like her are the worst. That's what worries me.

A.... They are both playing Gotcha. That's my point. It does not matter in either respect when the issues should be the focus of a presidential campaign.

B.... The response to this is going to be that Palin's connections are just as "nefarious" as any the Republican's tie to Obama. It's all circular logic that does not matter...

C.... What makes any of those people nasty people? Ayer's was a political activist who used questionable means. Not necessarily nasty. Wright is a preacher who espouses the works of god and attempts to lift his audience out of oppressionistic circumstances. Not necessarily nasty. The same goes for Farrakhan, but with a different religion. I might give you Rezko if there was any basis that Obama would be beholden to his views as president, which is the office he's running for.

D.... The million man march was an attempt to force African American men to take pride in themselves and rise above the situations that have lead to oppression and tyranny. Why is that a bad thing?

Again... none of any of this has any bearing on the issues at hand. None. So why bring them up?
