Default Obama says the financial crisis is above his paygrade and votes present

Obama votes present on joining the debate in Washington declaring 'I will be available if needed'

Well, who would give a hoot what a freshman senator has to say? The only people I can think of are the kids that voted for this buffoon Barack. Thank goodness those kids are not in charge of anything. Lets just hope that the adult supervision overrides the kids' nominee and elects John McCain.

So you prefer he gets in the way as a political ploy?

I prefer an idealist over a bush clone. Sometimes I wonder why you are so disrespectful to Obama? Disagreeing in one thing, but being mean just makes people tune you out. I for one respect McCain and his accomplishments, but I wouldn't vote for him on my life

be well

Ah, the "I HAVE TO DISTRACT EVERYONE WITH A STUPID FLAME BATE THREAD SINCE THE TRUTH IS BEING EXPRESSED IN ANOTHER THREAD AND IT LOOKS BAD FOR MY CANDIDATE" ploy. nice.

He doesn't need to be a political hack in this crisis. If it was a national security crisis, we would be seeing the leadership that McCain has shown by both candidates I hope. And this is just as important in my opinion because action must be taken now to avoid a real crisis and disaster.

I wonder the same thing about those who are disrespectful towards Palin. The truth is, both of them are inexperienced and haven't earned people's respect. If the dems had nominated someone I could respect like say Richardson, then I probably would be more respectful. But Obama is a leftist wacko with little experience and you want me to respect that? Good riddance. And in closing, I hope you are not implying that you think my attitude is racist because I have much respect for people of all ethnic backgrounds when they have earned it.

You implied that going back to Washington would be merely a political ploy, or as I like to refer to it, political hackery. He can go back to Washington and not be a political hack, but act as a leader, is what I meant.

He is a leader already. He just doesn't have to resort to theatrics.
