Default McCain Campaigning CONTINUES Despite "Suspension"

It's being reported from many of the swing states that McCain's attack ads against Obama are still being aired, despite his promise that as of 5pm last night they would all be pulled off the air.

Quote:
Readers have been sending in reports all morning that John McCain's attack ads are still up in swing states around the country, notwithstanding McCain's puffed-up and vainglorious claims to have suspended his campaign to go to Washington and save the economy. We are, as I write this, working the phones to confirm just what's up. In McCain's possible defense it can take a while to get ads down off the air. But we'll be getting to the bottom of it shortly.
How despicable would THIS be?

It takes NO TIME AT ALL to cancel an ad! You fax or call the radio/tv station and say "stop running our ads." It's an instantaneous process. In fact, a station that airs an ad after being told to stop it risks a lawsuit.

Who believed the guy anyway? I mean, I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth anymore. He's so buried under his own lies, I don't recognize him.

So McCain lied about suspending his campaign? Why aren't I surprised?

So maybe they are risking a lawsuit by running the ads. Even your source says they don't know what is going on yet so lets wait and see what the deal is. Besides aren't there more important things to worry about at the moment?

...well, it's not like we're not USED to McCain lying, I guess.
