Ok, another great point. Why is McCain in such a rush to get this completed as he stated yesterday. Members on both sides of the isle have been working tireless on this bill and now he wants to come in when the hard part is done? No way!

Did you mean hes working on the plan that he and Obama where suppose to release jointly until McCain jumped the gun in this political stunt?

Reid and Pelosi? Well, I am certainly relieved now.

After they attempted to pass a drilling bill that would have reduced offshore drilling I'm not impressed.

I'm surprised, in yesterdays speech, McCain didn't order Congress to cease and desist all negotiations until he got there.

No, I said yesterday that there was significant progress being made on the deal, and McCain was going to look stupid rushing back to Washington just as Congress finishes its work.

If McCain is needed simply to arm-twist some Republicans into supporting the package, he could do that from the road. Even if he felt it was better to head back to Washington to do so in person, he could have done that without the whole "Chicken Little" thing.

Why did he say he would suspend his campaign but allows his surrogates to stump?
