Because he's extremely afraid she will bomb on here on, thats why they are considering canceling her debate as well.

...and still, McCain hasn't even READ the Paulson plan!

Wow!

McCain is a moron. Anyone thinking he would add value to these proceedings needs to be drowned out of the gene pool, because after all - we all know John McCain and his economic prowess!

QUICK! Get this man to Washington - on the DOUBLE! We've got an economy stumbling and our most capable economist is out in the wilderness among the great unwashed trying to explain to mere plebians why they should vote for him. For God's sake, return him to his seat of power at once so that he may...

...sit and watch the real workers finish the job.

Oh, John? Don't forget to pack for the debate - you're going.

Oh, C'mon... Don't be so hard on yourself. Just because you're wrong on almost every issue doesn't mean you're weak minded. You're just learning. I do see a lot of potential in you though.

That was as of Tuesday, but still -- does that mean he read it between then and his Wednesday afternoon press conference? That seems doubtful.

Doesn't mean he didn't learn more about it, though. He could have gotten the executive summary from Congressional Republicans, for instance.

I can only assume you were referring to Obama in the former since he is the one who used depression. You guys are all over the place with your McCain complaints. First you complain when he says the fundamentals are sound and then you complain when he says this is a crisis let's focus on it. Frankly, it sounds like grasping at something, anything to complain about.

The deal was supposed to be done on Monday or Tuesday, and when it became obvious the dems wanted attach hundreds of billions more onto the package and the whole plan was at risk, McCain has stepped up to inject some bi-partisanship and get this thing done before the markets go into a panic again no thanks to Obama and his idiotic fear mongering of the American economy.
