You are going to have to do better than that completely asinine post of pure ignorance. I am not a dumbass and do not fall for such BS. The republicans had less than 60 Senators to end a filibuster and thus could not get the bill to a vote. If you know this and still post such blatant lies, then shame on you. But if you are just that ignorant, then good riddance.

Reports are that Obama did voice his concerns at the meeting with Bush and that McCain was silent. If McCain saw fit to make a big stink, went to DC to fix it and remained silent, why'd he even bother going. He could have got the same results over the phone.

Well here is the problem with your statement, not only is it complete and ill tell you why.

There were 55 Republicans (Not 60) and there where 45 Democrats, making the voting share 55% to 45% towards the republicans control. Now please tell me again how its democrats fault that this didnt get through?

Because he doesn't have the slightest clue what the hell he's doing and further more his newly developed stance on the issue suddenly mirrors those of Obama...wonder why that is?

Except for our constitution calls for this as part of the election cycle. Neither of these guys are on the committee debating the issue and McCain knows it. Its all political on his part. I guess the Constitution means absolutely crap to the GOP anymore! After all they did pass the Patriot Act..

Nonsense. There's only a few in the position to write a bill. Once that's ironed out, they can call for a vote. It happens that neither McCain or Obama are on those committees.

Thanks to his stunt, McCain only added to problems, and hasn't taken any position.

McCain is doing his job.

However, how will you react if McCain and the republicans pass a bill?

Will Obama criticize him for not passing Bush's bill?

That would be grand wouldn't it.

OK, McCain wanted to pass a bill that the Republicans, in charge at the time didn't even bring up. Obama, being a freshman at the time, didn't wiegh in.

Perhaps more regulations at the time would have helped. No one really knows for sure.

Where's McCain now? Does he want to impose regulations on the "bail out", does he even want a bail out? Resting on possible past laurels isn't helping.
