Since never. Countries will always act in the what they perceive to be their best interest. And it would be in no countries best interest if America suddenly stopped buying foreign goods because stuff is too messed up over here.

So listen up everybody I got a big announcement. I'm liberal!!! But wait that's not right... Let me put it this way, I certainly lean to the left on many issues, health care, human rights, and big government, but also lean more conservative on other issues; gun control, anti-welfare, etc.

So it would more accurate to congratulate me on being a leftist with a big right hand.
Congrats!!!! Me I am an atheist heathen republican. I am a firm believer in a woman's right over her own body and that she can go as far as she wishes professional.

I hunt and fish. I believe that the economic production of food is more important the animal rights. Conservative on health care and business issues. I believe that anyone can start with nothing and become successful. Those that are at the bottom are there because they don’t want to put out the effort to become successful and its their choice to be were they are at. I despise most forms of welfare but firmly believe in a safety net is needed temporarily.

Was a liberal on social issues but now they are way too far to the left. For capital punishment and the legalization of pot.

And I have been voting for McCain for president in the primary’s for years.

Cleary Obama is not fit to be president if other countries, many of whom hate us, want him to be president. Here is an idea, lets throw Obama in the UN. Then the world can have him and gush all over him like the dopes they want to be. Heck, they can even elect him to be THEIR leader as secretary general. This would be a fantastic role for Obama... a buffoon in the UN. Now that is a position for which he is totally qualified.

Duh...
Diplomacy does not always need to start with saber rattlin' and screaming "Yer goin down in flames you communist/terrorist/democrat/(insert ideal enemy name here)!!!"

Reagan, and Bush Junior both led with guns first, negotiations second. Bush Sr. did take care of that pesky Kuwait mess, and was smart enough to stay the fook out of Iraq in the first place. He knew what a mess that could be... Sadly the apple fell pretty far from the tree in this case.

McCain/Palin are another set of war-mongers. You can't have the situation always be the USA versus the world. At some point that's going to backfire.

And to add insult to injury, here we are, as a country telling other countries what to do when we can't even run our own!

We should get the fook outta Iraq and Afghanistan asap, and worry about our home town problems, before we try and "fix" any more global issues.

No, just factual. We elect our leaders in this nation just as others elect their own. Our opinion on who France elects is no more important than the opinions of the French as to who we elect.

I don't think you truly get it. You're missing the point.
Re-read JonathanBlu's points about us and world economics.
There's an implied inherent stability that goes along with it.

I dunno if that's true...

We're pretty upset about Iran's pick of president, and we might go to war over his decisions, so what does that tell you?

"we have it and they want it"

And Bush's proposed $700 billion bailout means we're strong?
Taxpayers, that means YOU and YOUR FAMILY, are going to flip the bill for this mess that came from both sides and the greed of corporate America.
Are you kidding me, we have money?
We're borrowing from the Chinese now, the same people who have a lot of our jobs. The same people that are a bigger threat to us ESPECIALLY now because of our logistical mess with our Armed Forces and because of our financial situation.

So what is it exactly that we have again? Please, tell me again.
