Default Nancy Pelosi: Bring The Bill to A Vote.

You got the entire Democrat side with you and 50 Republicans. Your majority is there to get it passed.

Call a floor vote and pass it on to the Senate.

You dont need an unanimous vote to get things passed. Just a majority.

You got it. So vote on it.

Pelosi refused to bring it to vote without McCain's support.

The don't want to side with Bush and allow McCain to vote against it.

I think socialization of our banking system should require more than just a majority vote.

It's a Republican plan from a Republican president with support from Republican senators.

If the House Democrats bring this to a vote without assurances of support from House Republicans, they deserve to lose in November.

Let the GOP hang THIS rotting albatross around the Democratic Party's neck? God, I hope we're smarter than that.

As plans go, it's probably the best option out of a load of stinking options... but SCREW letting the GOP have a free ride and a campaign issue from an economic debacle THEY CREATED!

That's rich.

I guess you are blaming McCain for not calling for reform to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac more than he did and calling the crooks Frank and Dobb out.

In that case, I agree. He should fought the dems harder than he did.

I agree but we are decades to late to stop it.

It was socialized way back when, when the Congress passed the Act back in 1977 and Congress mandated Fannie and Freddie give people loans they couldnt afford or else in the 1990s.

That was socialism then, that has given us more socialism now.
