Icon19 Is Pres. Bush a lame duck President

I know Pres. Bush is on the back end of his presidency, but is he still an effect leader (not as if he ever was) or is he just a Lame Duck President waiting to be put out to pasture.

Sen. McCain the Republican nominee doesn't even want the Pres. to campaign for him.

His own party is going against his $700Bil Bail-Out Plan.

He is not respected around the world as his predecessors were.

His approval ratings are probably the lowest of any Pres. in history.

Should Pres. Bush just call it a day and go ahead and move back to Crawford, TX today instead of waiting till Jan 09?

Bush was a lame duck the day after he won the 2nd term just like Clinton, Reagan etc etc. That is the definition of the term.

He's lame, limping, crippled, hopping around on a peg leg, unless he and the Dick man can declare Marshal Law we are just waiting for the fat lady to sing.

Of course when America goes to cash their pay checks next Friday and find a sign on the bank that says;

Out to Lunch. Be Back Tomorrow (but tomorrow never comes).

Marshal law will be an easy thing to declare, and they will finally have their dictatorship!

He is and it is just a matter of fact b/c it happens to every re-elected Prez. That said he still is able to push around the Dems in Congress to get many things he wants.
