LOL..possibly if we could get the mods to spread a bit of BS on this thread it may help attract Republicans to it like flys.

Just remember that the Gallup Poll is often in error. Considering the possible margin of error of this poll it might be Obama 54% vs McCain 38%.

Is no one polling the VP candidate's approval ratings or are they waiting for Palin to get to whole numbers?

Even in my good ol' very conservative, Bible-belt home state of TN - McCain has lost 11% of the vote in the past three weeks. I just got back from a church picnic - last month hardly anyone there was pro-Obama. Today about 1 in 4 are. If this keeps up TN may actually vote for Obama come November - and that would be groundbreaking.

The biggest problem for McCain is that he's really only had a significant lead or a draw during those 2 weeks after the Palin announcement and RNC. Before that Obama had a similar lead and McCains one big chance to stretch or gain momentum only got him to about even, before proving to be a political fluke. I don't think theres any doubt that unless Obama tries to rap at the next debate, then he'll be the next POTUS. Of course, I don't think any of the Pubs could've won this election after the Bush debacle. Hillary, Barack and even a post-affair Edwards would win this election this year.

All partisan bias aside I didn't think McCain did all that bad. Now Palin vs Biden, that's going to be a train wreck.

Never put it beyond the ability of the Democrats to lose an election.
