Default Palin Says Taxpayers Won’t Be Called Upon To Bailout Banks!

Philadelphia -- In what appears to be a major gaffe, or a complete misunderstanding of the $700-billion bailout, Republican vice presidential candidate appears to have said that taxpayers won’t be called upon to fund the bailout.

Link to rest.

Not just yet, but eventually the taxpayer has to foot the bill. Right now the free market is getting bailed out with borrewed foreign funds.

part of the snow job used to sell the con game ... aka bailout ... was that over time the taxpayer could ultimately see a profit on its "investment" as with previous bailouts
that's sure to be her camp's tack as explanation

maybe I am reading the last paragraph wrong but I took it mean she believes the McCain's input is to make sure the taxpayers are not going to eat this bailout. Her view is still wrong in my opinion because we will eat it. The whole bailout thing is stupid

No wonder they kept her under wraps for so long. Every time she opens her mouth we are left completely stunned by what comes out. Does anybody brief her on daily events in Congress? Or does she just wing it?

McCain will be along shortly to explain what she meant. The forum righties will be along shortly to mention something Biden did.
